Services we offer

Tree Care & Tree Feeding

Why do you need to feed your trees?

There is always decay of organic matter on the forest floor, this is an important part of the trees health. In the landscape we have removed those elements and replaced them with a competing plant (usually turf). Those vital nutrients need to be replaced and applied beyond the reach of the turf.

Deep Root Feeding

We inject Nutrients right into the root zone for the tree to take up naturally.

Trunk Injections

When the tree is unable to take up the nutrients through the root system due to a deficiency, soil imbalance, or other problem.

Vertical Mulching

We drill into the soil and backfill with an organic mix to promote root colonization. This is an excellent choice for trees under unusual stress.

Tree and Shrub Insect and Disease Control

Trees and Shrubs are constantly under attack from insects that can damage the aesthetic value as well as kill the plant entirely. Here is what we do to prevent this:

Soil Drench

Product is applied to soil and taken up through the root system

Trunk Injections

Injected directly into the Trunk, these treatments can last up to 2 years.

Basal Drench

Product is applied to the lower part of the trunk, absorbed into, and carried up throughout the tree.

Product is applied directly to the canopy (or leaves).

Root Crown Excavation - Air Spade

A good portion of trees struggle to grow and thrive because they are planted too deep. This addresses that issue with a one time service.

Tree Aeration - Air Spade

Some trees have a very Compact Soil and are in need of Oxygen, we can Aerate the root zone to create a healthier environment for the tree to thrive.

Harvey changed a lot of the soils from aerobic to anaerobic by flooding the soil and removing the oxygen. This created a very unhealthy environment for our Trees especially our Live Oaks.
Root Zone Aeration puts Oxygen back in the soil and allows the beneficial Fungi to once again dominate the root zone.

Shrub and Ornamental Care

Quarterly Shrub Care

We start with a Quarterly Insect and Disease treatment program. We can also include Feedings depending on your plant and soils specific needs. We advise and address many Abiotic issues with this care.

Common Abiotic Issues - Soil PH imbalance, Poor Drainage, Nutrient Deficiency, Over and Under Watering,
Common Insect and Diseases - Aphids, Mites, Scale, Pine Beetle, Borers, Powdery Mildew, Leaf Spot, Root Rots, Black Sooty Mold.

Many HOA’s require an ISA Certified Arborist to draft a letter with reasons for specific tree removals.
We provide that service.

Pre and Post Construction Care

Many trees go into stress and sometimes decline from the work done around them while building a home.
We prepare the trees for the stress by setting barriers for the Builders and creating a more dense root zone for the tree to be less affected.
